It’s tricky to find (just one discreet, easy-to-miss sign announces the hotel), but once here you’ll find a peaceful, pampering place. Housed in a traditional blue-shuttered Provençal bastide, overlooking gardens with acres of vineyards beyond, the hotel is done out in elegant, rustic Côte Sud style with exposed stone walls, painted beams, antiques and a vast open fireplace. Bedrooms are luxurious and photo-shoot perfect in natural shades. The all-inclusive price covers extras such as afternoon tea and copious quantities of the bastide’s own wine.
