Where to Stay in the Wine Regions of France

The B&B La Course, which offers free bike hire, and Une Chambre Chez Dupont (a guesthouse in a renovated 18th-century building) are also close to the wine museum and numerous local winemakers (owners will help organise wine tours), as well as the Musée d'Aquitaine, the Grand Théâtre, Place de la Bourse, Basilique Saint-Michel, Quinconces Esplanade and the contemporary-art museum CAPC.

La Course

La Course is a Maison d'Hôtes de Luxe. That translates as a former family home flipped into a spellbindingly luxurious B&B. Grab a bottle of Bordeaux from the cellar, steal a platter of snacks from the fridge, then snuggle up in front of the log fire.
