In keeping with its familial feel, cots are freely available and children under 2 can stay free-of-charge. It's a short drive away from Mielan where there are a number of shops and restaurants, including La P'tite Marmite Gasconne, well-frequented by locals, who serve a mix of traditional French and international cuisine, (I recommend that you try the duck leg and chocolate fondant).
