Centrally situated next to the Beirut Souks, the five-star Le Gray is an elegant, design-driven hotel. Each spacious room follows a soothing colour scheme of sage green, greys and blues, with vibrant modern art adding pizazz to the walls. Check out city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in each room or request a room with private terraces perfect for soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine. To continue working on the tan, head to the infinity pool on the top floor, where sun loungers encourage guests to lie back and relax high above Beirut’s noisy streets. As dusk falls, the rooftop restaurant, Indigo on the Roof, serves up international cuisine alongside spectacular views of the downtown mosque while cocktails and house beats can be found at trendy bar Cherry.
