“A Five Star hotel with a contemporary laid back vibe but where attention to detail is paramount. Rooms have modern furniture, all the mod cons and splashes of modern art. Trendy bar and restaurant. A value for money choice - business or pleasure.”

Hotel review

There are hotels aplenty in Brussels and even plenty of five star hotels too, but Le Louise Hotel Brussels stands out from the crowd. The location helps, being on the Avenue de la Toison d’Or, a shoppers paradise with every designer brand you can think of, all within a few minutes walk; for the more highbrow Les Musees Royaux des Beaux-Art and the Magritte Museum are a gentle 15 minutes and the European Parliament perhaps 20 minutes. Then there’s the mood – contemporary, laid back and informal but don’t worry service is always warm, smiley and efficient. Bedrooms have super comfy beds with excellent linen and duvets that seem to puff up naturally; you almost can’t resist climbing in. Bathrooms, some with bathtub on request, are straightforward and well thought out with L’Occitane soap and shampoo – overall rooms are minimalist but more than comfortable and relaxing with everything you need from minibars to charging points. The first floor lobby, accessed by escalator or lift from the street below, is buzzing; people checking in, checking out, having a meeting, enjoying the verdant and spacious terrace with a cup of coffee or a drink from Bar Mister Blue, jazz overtones here, or making their way to the unstuffy and busy Maison Louise – Kitchen. Bar. Garden for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A big hotel with a boutique and intimate feel.
