A magnificent neo-Renaissance structure, tacked onto a towering contemporary block of rooms- a combination that shouldn't work but really somehow does! The original half contains a hip bar and restaurant where you are likely to find throngs of suave ladies and gents of the Montreal elite. The rooms and suites are located in the new structure and are embedded with every convenience and modern gimmick you can think of, from chromatherapy showers to Nespresso machines and elongated in built fires and funky painted free standing baths. We stayed in one of the smaller suites, with skylight but no patio- it was utter heaven!

"Old meets new at Le Mount Stephen, where original details such rich wood panelling, stained glass windows and antique furniture go hand-in-hand with sleek, contemporary guest rooms"
