Le Royal, part of the Hotel Barriere company, has stood in the middle of Deauville for 100 years, with breathtaking views of the beaches, town and surrounding countryside. It is the first port-of-call of any celebrity and is frequented by many of cinema's greatest stars, particularly for the Deauville American Film Festival. It is easy to see why, for this hotel is the definition of barefoot luxury. Her facilities include a car park, library, bar, restaurant and wellness centre, with treatments ranging from hammam to massages. There is a gym, outdoor pool, on-site hairdresser and kids club. The 247 designer rooms, including suites, all come with a safe, desk, wifi, minibar and hairdryer, while only suites come with a private terrace and A/C. In keeping with her name, the rooms are effortlessly elegant, albeit regal, unsurprising really considering Le Royal's star-spangled clientele. Only a 3 minute walk from the beach. They have multimedia, fully-equipped seminar and meeting rooms that have a capacity of up to 150 people, but can work with local groups like the Deauville Casino, a stone's throw away, to accommodate for larger groups.
