“A family run, owner led lodge in the Lyngen Alps offering a plethora of adventures for outdoor enthusiasts. Personable staff and chic interiors. A beautiful stay in the Arctic Circle.”

Hotel review

The lodge has eight bedrooms, one large living room, a dining room, and a separate TV room, as well as a little snug. The house is built after a very traditional building model but some Northern American touches have been added. The atmosphere is incredibly cosy, with that Scandinavian "hyggelig" touch, whilst still very professional. Individual rooms are available to rent, but the Lodge lends itself incredibly well to large groups. The food is simply excellent, at breakfast there is an array of buffet items, and pack individual lunches to take out on daily expeditions - don't forget to add in the sweet and nut mix for an extra kick to packed lunch. Dinners are three courses, and delectable! Amazing advice is onhand for any type of skiing experience, from the owner who is a mountain sports specialist with many years' experience. In addition, ski-guides can be arranged for ski-touring trips, which can start directly from the back of the house - but there are many more tracks further afield.

Highly recommended for nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiats, or those who wish to simply soak up the incredible views which never cease to amaze, and change daily.
