“Stylish home-from-home in one of the city’s trendier districts; cool colours, funky wallpapers, big rooms and a relaxed atmosphere. Peaceful courtyard, too. Understated and chic.”

Hotel review

Tucked in a quiet street in the coolly fashionable Ixelles district, this feels like you're staying in the owners' large and welcoming home rather than a hotel. And owners who have a very good eye for design. There are big spaces, cream and coffee colours, bold-patterned rugs and wallpapers, and a toasty wood-burning stove. Rooms are pared-down and soothing in milky-whites and soft greys, with pale-painted furniture, Lloyd Loom-style chairs and the odd vintage item. Bathrooms vary between small and modern to big and spoiling. There are plenty of places to relax, including a courtyard for sunny days, plus a well-stocked bar and 'snack' area. Breakfast in the light conservatory is a joy, with a generous selection of fruit, pastries, breads, waffles and cooked items. It's a 30-minute walk to the city centre, so be prepared for lots of walking or use the trams and buses.

See what they say

Why do people love staying in your hotel? They feel at home, enjoy the breakfast and the Art Nouveau area What is there to do in the area? Lots of galleries, near Avenue Louise (shopping area), Horta Museum, Place Flagey (lots of bars, Art Deco), rue du Bailli (shopping, restaurants), Chatelain area with the Trinity Cathedral and a local market on Wednesday until 7 pm What kind of breakfast do you offer? Local products, healthy and a gluten and/or lactose-free selection (included gluten free bread, almond and soy milk, soy yogurt). The milk, eggs, yogourt and butter are from Belgium. The granola is also Belgian and gluten-free. We take care of the product we propose and we also look after the environmental impact they have. Do you offer other meals? No. However, we propose Deliveroo and a take away from the Italian next door which is the Ciao Bella. We also have a little market where you can enjoy some snacks, natural wines and a wide range of Belgian beers. We offer for free olive, cheese and a mix with peanut and almond grilled to accompany drinks. Can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Bistro Madame: a nice mix between Belgian and French cuisine with local produce and natural wine Tero: hygge atmosphere proposing local and organic which come directly from their own farm. Le Chou de Bruxelles: Le Chou de Bruxelles, an authentic Belgian cuisine and atmosphere not far from our hotel. Dolce Amaro: Dolce Amaro, an elegant Italian restaurant with very good quality products. Which are your most popular room types, and why? Charming, great room for a great price: This room may welcome 1 to 2 persons, possibly with a baby cot. Most of them have a bathtub, few with a walk in shower, some overlooking a typical side street in the Art Nouveau district of Ixelles, others overlooking our leafy courtyard. What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms? Baby coat for free only in charming and executive rooms. Extra bed only in our executive for an extra 30€ per night What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? Enjoy the charm of living in a typically Brussels townhouse from the 20th century for a night or a longer stay with friends and family. A warm atmosphere that will almost make you forget you're at a hotel! The art of living Belgian-style, thanks to the high-quality service.
