Another heritage hotel, like Maidens and Claridges, this one is the oldest of all, built in 1903 and home to Lutyens (and possibly inspiration in its classical architecture) when he first arrived in Delhi and beloved of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor among others. The colonial style hotel is a home from home for its guests, with kind, attentive service, excellent food in its Curzon Restaurant and mostly spacious bedrooms and suites. Set in eight lush acres, with views of the greenery of Delhi Ridge, this is another address where you can find real peace and leave the bustle of Delhi far behind.
