Hotel Review
Not only is it located in Philly's most historic district, but Morris House is itself a National Historic Landmark. This is the ideal place to stay if you are tired of the monotony of large hotels. Every detail is unique- this is due to the loving attention to detail over many years that makes up the decor! The rooms are large and everything you would expect from such a historic building, think quaint antique desks, four poster beds, hard wood floors and elegant drapes. The marble bathrooms are spacious and pampering. The courtyard is utterly charming and in the candlelight it perfectly sets the mood for the gourmet French cuisine from M Restaurant- enchanting! The friendly staff are ready to help with anything and have a deep knowledge of Philly history and attractions. A true gem.
