Hotel review

Once a destination for Hollywoods biggest stars from John Wayne to Elizabeth Taylor, it had rather lost its sparkle in the 50 years since — until now! This is a completely modern make-over of Mountain Shadows, for a new generation of guests. The contemporary style and clean cut lines somehow enhance the connection to the Southwestern landscape outside, they step back and let the windows do the talking. Every possible convenience has been thought of, every detail perfectly ironed out by the unbelievably helpful and competent staff. We would recommend taking a balcony room as that view just needs to be admired, preferably while you sip on cocktails and discuss the next day's plans!!
