During the communist era, accommodation in Bratislava was in large, often-featureless, hotels. The recent addition of charming boutique hotels, as well as more conventional hotel groups, is characterized by pension Virgo. Situated in an excellent position near the famous Grassalkovich Palace or the Presidential Palace. It offers modern standards of service, a stylish interior, and incredibly comfortable beds. The atmosphere is one of relaxed informality. The only downside is the lack of the air conditioning, especially during hot summer nights.
