“A chic little property right on Helensburgh's seafront. Fourteen rooms are finished in contemporary style with great touches including underfloor heating and record players with accompanying albums! The restaurant serves Italian cuisine & the views over Gareloch are stunning.”

Hotel review

Riva Boutique Hotel is a great addition to Argyll's hotel scene. Superbly located for both city and country pursuits, it offers the perfect launchpad for those who want to experience the best of each. Its fourteen rooms have been stylishly finished: think beige leather headboards, contrasting dark grey tweed throws, bold dark carpets, retro-style furnishings and cool accessories including a record player with accompanying carefully curated vinyl selection. En suite bathrooms do not disappoint either with walk-in rainshowers, luxury smellies from Highland Soaps and a smart modern feel. Downstairs the buzzing restaurant and bar is popular both with locals and guests. Chef Alisdair Beattie has worked in several Michelin starred establishments, which means that his Italian inspired dishes are produced to the highest standards. A trendy little property ideally located for exploring this part of West Scotland, plus you can bring the kids and dog too!
