“A cluster of stylish modern self catering apartments gazing out over a peaceful side street in Bucharest’s picturesque old town. With contemporary furnishings, private balconies and coffee machines they are the perfect base for exploring the Romanian city dubbed Paris of the East”

Hotel review

Tucked away along a cobbled side street shaded by sweet-scented Linden trees in Bucharest’s Art Nouveau architecture-packed old town, these 24 cosy self-catering apartments feel blissfully private, despite being within easy reach of the city’s mainsights. Thoughtful touches are everywhere in these spacious apartments: large bedrooms have plump beds and lovely light-filled bathrooms whose walls adorned with canary-yellow ceramics provide a cheery backdrop to powerful jetted massage showers (perfect after a long days sightseeing) and ground floor rooms have large alfresco decked areas. Perhaps best of all (especially if you’re on a budget or travelling with kids) the self-catering facilities - which include an electric hob and a microwave oven, along with plenty of plates, cups and cutlery – are first class. Thoughtful extras include complimentary milk, a machine for refilling water bottles, a terrace area with Nespresso machine free for guests, and breakfast sandwiches and juice from French chain Paul’s bakery close by.

Map & Location

See what they say

Why do people love staying in your hotel? Big clean and pretty rooms. Quiet and calming hotel atmosphere. The neighborhood is quiet as well and full with comfortable options for a drink, grocery or essentials shopping and only 8 minutes walking distance to the center.

What is there to do in the area? There are 2 Italian restaurants, Gradina Icoanei which is a small nice park close by and is the home of “Gargantua” (French known and loved restaurant), “Sera Eden” – which opened last year and is a secret garden, one of the best places in town (200 meters). “Hop Hooligans” is a world-class craft beer manufacturer and their tap room is 200 meters away.

What kind of breakfast do you offer? We offer a menu in collaboration with the European well known and loved “Paul Café” – we offer several items from their menu to be delivered directly to the guest’s room at the time of his choice.

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?

We do not offer any other meals, but many people choose to order food online (Glovo, Bolt, Tazz) as the kitchen in the room (all rooms) is very useful.

Which are your most popular room types, and why? All of them are quite popular honestly, maybe the Terrace Studio is a bit more popular as the Terrace has a large balcony which you only rarely get to experience in a city center hotel. Also, the rooms are average 30sqm, the standard for new city center hotels is about 16-20 Sqm

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? Almost every room can fit an extra bed to accommodate up to 3 guests, and the Duplex Suite can accommodate up to 4 guests thanks to the extensible sofa. We don’t really offer facilities for kids, only for babies – cot, high-chair, baby bath.

What message would you like to give The Hotel Guru readers? We are the perfect match for people looking for an “Urban oasis”. The hotel is nice, quiet, and elegant, offering natural materials of top quality, super comfortable beds and a perfect escape from the city's vibrant atmosphere. For those who love/appreciate design/architecture we are a study case – we won the national contest for architecture and design first place in 2023 and we are on the cover of #1 design magazine in Romania, we appeared on national TV twice, Youtube, lots of wedding photo shootings are taking place here and more…
