Hotel Review

If you are looking for a country club feel to your next luxury holiday, Rosewood Bermuda might be the place for you; with 240 manicured acres, a private beach, four swimming pools, a spa, tennis courts and golf club - to name just a few - this resort has all the amenities you could dream of, with a hint of British design and lots of tropical delights. Rooms are bright and stylish with modern interiors; all suites offer spectacular sea views and a large bathtub; Aerin Lauder bath amenities complete the luxury feel to the stay. Suites range in size and grandeur, from the chic ocean view suite to the regal, two-bedroom king suite. There are six bars and restaurants to choose from within the resort, from dressed down poolside cocktails to the stylish, fine dining Island Brasserie. Drop into the Conservatory Bar & Lounge for elegant afternoon tea. Be sure to book into the hotel's Sense Spa for a day of pampering, with a range of health and beauty treatments - all ages welcome. More active guests have their pick of endless packages, from paddle boarding to snorkelling, diving and fishing plus a par-70 golf course and tennis centre. Children are also welcomed with open arms with summer programs to keep even the most jaded entertained. And what makes this all work, of course, it's the staff who could not be more friendly, helpful and charming. Rosewood Bermuda could easily be a No 1 hotel to revisit (often).

  • Why do people love staying in your hotel?

  • Guests love the ocean views available in practically all the rooms, the overall spaciousness and the freedom the grounds inspire from venturing to the golf club house and tennis center, to the coveted beach club in the high season, the charming people working at the resort, and their unique Bermuda accent..

  • What is there to do in the area?

  • Aside from exploring all the amenities at the hotel, guests are encouraged to venture to Bermuda’s scenic and historic cities and towns, from nearby St. George’s, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the oldest established townships in the Americas, to Hamilton, a metropolitan city center offering world-class luxury shopping, dining, heritage, and colorful ambiance.

  • What kind of breakfast do you offer?

  • Everything from the traditional Continental breakfast, American breakfast, even a refined iteration of the traditional Bermudian breakfast of cod, avocados, banana and egg. Breakfast buffets are often available during the busier summer season, and there are truly inventive and satisfying options for vegetarians and vegans as well.

  • Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?

  • All the restaurants on site offer a variety of distinct options from a steakhouse/brasserie, to southern Italian, to the beach club’s marketplace inspired seafood and sushi offerings. Off-site, Bermuda offers a wealth of excellent fare. From the historic Tom Moore’s Tavern offering traditional European fare, to Blu offering excellent Sushi and amazing Hamilton city harbor views, to the colloquial Swizzle Inn, the birthplace of the Bermuda Rum Swizzle offering a comforting menu of Pub food and casual classics.

  • Which are your most popular room types, and why?

  • While every room offers an ocean view, the Ocean View King is a favorite for combining excellent space for a non-suite accommodation, with large terraces perfect for breakfast overlooking Castle harbour, and spacious five-fixture baths with deep-soaking tubs many of which offer incredible yet private views over Castle Harbour.

  • What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ?

  • Most rooms (except Ocean View Queen rooms, and Superior King Rooms, offer the addition of a roll-away bed, or a sofa bed that can be converted to accommodate a child. Children can access the daily kids hangout programs by day during select periods of the summer high season, and there are often weeklong camps for junior golf, tennis, and water sports.

  • What message would you like to give The Hotel Guru readers?

We hope you will visit our bit of paradise in the middle of the Atlantic, and discover for yourself the hidden gems to be enjoyed here in Bermuda!
