“Charming small hotel in the heart of Perthshire. Elegant rooms, some with four poster beds, antique furniture and traditional artworks. Wonderful Scottish cuisine served in a cosy dining room. A charming country house well positioned to access this beautiful corner of Scotland.”

Hotel review

This charming coaching house, named after Queen Victoria who stayed here once, is perfectly positioned in the pretty village of Comrie on the banks of the River Earn. Splendid scenery, golf courses and country sports are all nearby but the welcoming and comfortable surroundings of the hotel are temptation enough to stay closer to home. Curling up on a plump sofa, beside a crackling fire with an interesting book, is a splendid way to pass the time and a great antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. Chef patron David Milsom serves Scotland’s finest ingredients simply but well, with the chance to eat in the walled garden if the weather plays along. Bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary style with plenty of luxuries and make a good end to the day.
