A bank of cacti surrounds this typical C17th Mallorcan country house set within 37 hectares of open countryside. Restored and converted into a 24-room hotel, the property has an unexpectedly modern, lateral interior. Five guest rooms are upstairs in the main house and a further 19 in individual studio buildings, each with private terrace, comfortable mattresses and generous pillow options. Guests are invited to make use of the honesty bar with its well-stocked fridge and self-service tea and Nespresso coffee machine. Between 2-5pm complimentary lunchtime snacks are laid out thoughtfully using surplus bread, cheese, eggs etc from the morning’s breakfast buffet A wander round the garden will take you to a pond with 3 varieties of lily and a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the landscape. The adjacent restaurant is housed in a separate building with lofty ceilings and outdoor terrace and produces wholesome, well flavoured food thanks to the female chef. Chickens roam the grounds and if you’re lucky you will spot the resident wildlife - Masai the zebra and stripy legged Alpin who’s half-zebra, half-donkey.

We have a wide variety of recommendations for our clients, depends on the distance they want to travel, and the hobbies of each one: Guided tour of well-known vineyards, olive cultivation where they make a spectacular extra virgin olive oil, golf, massages, cycling or on horseback, fly with the balloon for the most daring or rent a boat for hours from the beautiful port of Portocolom. What kind of breakfast do you offer? Buffet breakfast with a variety of fruit, cold meats, cheeses, nuts, local jams and the unmistakable natural orange juice. Besides, we offer something different every day, so as not to bore the palate of our clients Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We serve a daily menu that changes every day for 2 weeks, to satisfy the many customers who are with us for long periods of time. We also have at our customers disposal at reception a folder with a variety of restaurants (tapas, Fresh fish, typical Mallorcan food, Michelin star restaurants) and we book for them. Which are your most popular room types, and why? The most requested rooms are the Deluxe because they have a very good size (room + bathroom between 28 - 40 m2) for long stays or for families who need a cot or extra bed, and the Premium because they are very comfortable and at a good price for couples. What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? For families that come with babies we offer free cradle and we leave a kettle in their room in case they need to prepare a bottle with milk or tea. In the Deluxe or Suite rooms, up to 2 extra beds can be accommodated. What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers?
