“A luxury lodge that doesn't miss a beat with its exceptional service, amenities, and design. Chic cabins & guest houses have a rustic feel made entirely with natural materials but the simplicity of the design is very modern. The bar, chef-prepared meals, and activities are all included. Superb!”

Hotel review

Cerulean skies or a blanket of thick snow equally complement this glitzy yet rustic cabin stay, hugged by granite mountains all around. You’re perfectly placed to explore Rocky Mountain town Crested Butte, then hide away in the jaw-droppingly beautiful Taylor Canyon. Design is impeccable throughout; two stylish single family homes and six cabins retaining their 1940s ‘board and chink’ bones. Feeling totally remote while offering every mod con, this is the perfect setting to properly unplug.

Evenings begin at the smart horseshoe bar, where hot apple cider readily awaits guests dusting snow off their shoes. Boredom is unthinkable, whatever the weather’s up to: the games room boasts foosball, a dart board and beer taps while the luxurious bath house offers panoramic views of the jaw-dropping natural setting. All food and house alcohol is included — so be sure to raid the minibar and sink into the thick pillows with a book, or curl up in the lounge with some wine.

Fishing enthusiasts will love the stocked trout pond and semi-private river. Limitless activities keep everyone busy; the surrounding mountains feature hiking and cycling trails, and there’s an on-site rock climbing wall. Come winter you can hop in a transfer to ski Crested Butte, just half an hour away. Summer nights revolve around the campfire; think stargazing and s’mores.
