An upscale hotel Thalassa opened its doors in 2004 to much acclaim. With much to boast about, its spa, designed by Barry Warrington (Princess Diana’s former personal trainer and world renowned Chiva Som manager) is the cherry on top. With a comprehensive treatment list there are detox, couples and weight loss packages: something for everyone. Overlooking Coral Bay it is but a 15-minute drive from Paphos. Rooms enjoy stunning sea views, private balconies and separate living areas. Decorated in natural woods and neutral palettes there is a real indoor-outdoor living style. There are two restaurants: the alfresco Seafood Grill serving (clue’s in the name) catch of the day and other fresh fish dishes overlooking the bay, and Ambrosia, specialising in contemporary Cypriot fare. Don’t miss the informal Beach Bar for sundowners. With the motto “The Answer is Yes. What is the Question” the service is impeccable. In fact, the top tier rooms even include your very own butler.
