The Boatshed a luxury coastal retreat perched above white sandy beach of Oneroa on Waiheke Island. In keeping with the nautical theme, there’s a range of bungalows and suites to choose from just three minutes from the beach. The Lighthouse is the most romantic - a spectacular white washed three storey hideaway with a separate bedroom and dayroom and a sweeping deck. Take advantage of the dumbwaiter so you can dine with the stunning panoramic views of the bay as your backdrop. The island has a micro-climate ensuring vines and olive trees grow in abundance on the island, so make time to sample the local wine at one of the many wineries on the island. With over 100 working artists on the island there’s a thriving community, and plenty of chances to purchase some unique art to take home. Or, stay close and you'll find some great walks from The Boatshed, beach gear is provided, including shade umbrellas, sun hats, sand mats and suncream. This is laid back beach style done to perfection.
