“Newly converted inn in the modern gastropub with rooms tradition - practical and countrified, with lush garden, simple, cosy bedrooms and gourmet cooking.”

Hotel review

The coyly named Feathered Nest at Nether Westcote is rapidly establishing itself as a beacon amongst newly converted, mid price rural inns; smaller, less formal and less expensive than fully fledged hotels yet offering many of the same services and standards. The ground floor bar and restaurant gleams with polished wood, polished glass, Delft tiles and polished bar stools fashioned from riding saddles, and the luxurious and countrified bedrooms, with calming views of the Evenlode Valley, lack for nothing. Food, in the homely but elegant dining room is as impressive as the bedrooms and there’s a lush garden and heated outdoor terrace. Rural charm, polished, perfected and fit for even the most exacting of silver-tongued, Saville Row-suited guests.
