This is probably the closest you can get to feeling like a local without staying in a rented apartment. Smack-bang in the chic cobbled streets of the sought-after Back Bay area, this stylish yet surprisingly affordable brownstone B&B is fuss-free with a look-after-yourself vibe (there’s keyless entry and virtual check-in) but it still has frills. The 16 interior-designed suites feel luxurious, and come with the bonus of a kitted out kitchen so you have the option to cook if you want to, making it a good choice for families, too. There’s a lounge downstairs where there will be a very decent continental breakfast laid out, plus a fitness centre if you feel you need to work off the culinary delights you’ll be enjoying in this foodie neighbourhood.
