All this outdoor activity ensure that the 3000 sqm wellness centre, known as the Spa Chalet at Hotel Jagdhof is very much appreciated. From the indoor and outdoor pool, serenity rooms overlooking the Stubai Valley, tea lounges and multiple saunas (20 relaxation and sauna experiences on offer, including indoor Jacuzzi), it can be difficult to pry yourself from one of the lounge chairs in the 5000sqm garden. The hotel has a lot on offer, including excellent dining experiences which come with the half-board (go for this and you'll get a six or seven-course taster dinner every day). From fabulous Austrian treats using very local ingredients (like the venison from the family-farm), it is no wonder Chef Boris Meyer has 15 points by Gault & Millau. For wine-lovers, you really must ask to speak to the sommelier and tour or even eat dinner in the wine grotto. With more than 20,000 bottles of wine, you are spoiled for choice.
