“A boutique hotel in the trendy River North Art District. Interiors are beautifully appointed, with wide plank hickory flooring, moody dark blue walls and antique Persian rugs. Home to chic, pre-theatre cocktail bar Death & Co, this hotel feels more like a stylish pied-à-terre. Seriously cool!”

Hotel review

Situated in the hip and happening RiNo Arts District of Denver, The Ramble is like a breath of fresh air compared to the larger, ubiquitous chain hotels which tend to dominate the city’s accommodation scene. The building might be new, but it’s modelled on a turn-of-the-century industrial property, so has oodles of charm and style from the huge high ceilings with glitzy chandeliers to the inviting squashy leather sofas in the lobby. Interior designers have taken inspiration from Madame Rambouillet’s famous French Salons of the 17th century, and the aim here was to create stunning spaces that foster conversations and creativity. Needless to say, the result is pretty spectacular with moody dark blue walls set beside expansive windows, hickory floors, antique Persian rugs, eclectic art works and smart modern bathrooms.

The common areas are equally sumptuous and house the only outpost of the renowned cocktail bar, Death & Co, outside of New York (this is unmissable, even if you haven’t booked a room for the night!). For food there’s pan-Latin cuisine at Super Mega Bien (led by James Beard-nominated chef Dana Rodriguez). To sum up, this is a gorgeous boutique property, a popular meeting spot for creative hipsters and design mavens, in a seriously cool part of town.
