Because quiet luxury has just landed on the Portuguese island of Madeira. The Savoy Palace Hotel opened in 2019, rising high above the seafront in Funchal, but – opening in January 2024 – it transformed one corner to create a boutique hotel within a hotel, with personal service that whisks you straight from the plane to the lobby.
