Hotel review

The Maldives can be frighteningly expensive. Iru Fushi is an exception. Far enough from Male to require a seaplane transfer, this well-run resort offers desert island seclusion (the whole island is given over to the resort) and tons of family friendly activities, in some of the best and largest beach villas in this category in the Maldives. The only downside is this is a large resort, with all the usual buffet madness - but it is cleverly designed never to feel crowded, and for the deals they offer, it's a small compromise to make.
