The Matakana Coast is the beating heart of Auckland's wine country; brimming with vineyards set against dramatic mountains and the beautiful Hauraki Gulf, this hidden corner of New Zealand makes an idyllic escape to the country. Woodhouse Lodge is the perfect place to experience this magical landscape, with private villa suites dotted around the estate, offering views across the spectacular landscape in addition to a full-service spa, tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool.

Guest suites are beautifully appointed, featuring king-size beds dressed in plush linens and a cosy lounge area. Each villa-suite has a private patio area, the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day and take in the sunset over the Pacific.
