“Centrally located yet a world away from Chiang Mai’s busy streets. This boutique hotel promises first-class facilities and old-world charm for a discerning crowd. Suites are simply made for couples with big baths and bigger beds but interconnecting rooms mean it's great for families too. ”

Hotel review

Built around an original 19th-century wooden home, 137 Pillars House skilfully blends its historic past with the colonial-style suites it offers today. Located a short walk from the centre of Chiang Mai, this boutique bolthole is ideally situated to explore the sights without compromising on any creature comforts. At the sleek swimming pool, enjoy a complimentary homemade sorbet as you admire the lush foliage wall; nearby, the gym and spa offer an array of wellness options. As night falls, head to the library, a gracefully appointed room with armchairs, board games and a discreet bar at the back. If solitude sounds more appealing, your suite should do the trick: with a four-poster bed and a clawfoot bathtub, it’s been decorated with an old-world aesthetic in mind. A perfect night’s sleep is guaranteed by the extensive pillow menu and 400-thread count bed linen.
