Latest addition to the growing brigade of laid back Guldsmeden hotels (as well as Bertrams there is the Carlton, also in Vesterbrogade) the Axel includes a spa and penthouse suites with private terraces amongst its 129 room, decorated in Guldsmeden's signature Balinese style, with teak four posters and Persian rugs, plus modern technology. And another of its excellent restaurant/cafes, with delicious organic food served on Mexican pottery.
