“Sensational hotel above Smuggler's Cove. Rooms & villas are spacious, with shuttered windows, dark wood furniture and large verandahs. Villas have kitchens, living rooms & flexible layouts that are perfect for families or groups. Outdoor pool, gym, spa and gardens. Luxurious, intimate and serene. ”

Hotel review

Cap Maison is a privately owned luxury property that has been run impeccably since its inception by Ross Stevenson who has honed his skills at a variety of top notch properties world wide. It oozes style and shouts understated luxury and timeless elegance. Rooms and suites are housed in a collection of villas which have been created in an eclectic Mexican meets Mediterranean meets Moorish style, and with a great eye for detail and thought for the guest. LIttle extras include spoiling Acqua di Parma toiletries and complimentary natural mosquito repellent and after bite sprays. Flexibility is the by-word here and rooms can be configured to suit pretty much anyone from a honeymoon couple looking for complete privacy to a larger family or group of friends. Steep steps lead down to Smugglers Cove where you'll find a range of free watersports on the sandy beach and the Naked Fisherman beach bar and grill for laid back lunch (and dinner on selected nights). The Cliff at Cap is well known for its delicious Caribbean inspired cuisine, but if you want something truly special, book your private dinner at Rock Maison (a wooden platform set on the rocks directly below the Cliff restaurant) where there's even a zip wire to deliver your champagne direct from the bar above. Mature, tropical gardens reveal plenty more hidden gems with strategically placed hammocks, sun loungers and two swimming pools (one is a two tiered infinity pool with views to Pigeon Island one way and Martinique the other). Quite simply a secluded and sophisticated (but certainly not stuffy) spot. Cap Maison also stands out due to its service: attentive, efficient and friendly. A wonderful stay.
