Hotel Review

Casa Moraira is beautiful little bed and breakfast nestled down the quiet streets of Getsemani, a peaceful enclave, yet only a stone's throw from the vibrant buzz within the citied walls of Cartagena. The Guesthouse is adult only, small and charming, a perfect place for visitors who want to explore all that Cartagena has to offer. It has four double rooms (one of which can be set up as a twin), with charming unique décor in each. You can expect a lovely mix of period and traditional features seamlessly blended with boho-chic modern styling.

Delicious breakfast options are provided every morning to set you up for the day, and once you're back from a busy (and very hot) day's exploring, there's a plunge pool and drinks fridge so you can cool off and unwind before going to one of the Casa's many restaurant recommendations for dinner.

To name just a few of the things you can do in the local area, explore Getsemani, walk along the city walls, watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean, or even take a day trip to one of the private Beaches on Tierra Bomba (a fun 20 minute boat journey away)

Casa Moraira is a charming, small, peaceful and affordable guesthouse with very friendly staff. It's a great base to explore the rest of Cartagena for anyone wanting a lowkey property and an intimate vibe.
