You can imagine Colin Firth or Gwyneth Paltrow filming a period piece here. This formal and very French 18th-century château is film-set ready. The fairy tale twin turrets are fit for Madame de Pompadour, as are the secret boudoirs and the general sense that the Ancien Regime has yet to be toppled. Come and lose your head over the grand salons and canopied beds.
