One of several luxury hotels squeezed onto the prime end of London's Park Lane, the COMO Metropolitan is the hip and minimalist answer for the young, professional traveller looking for uncluttered lux and an unbeatable panorama. Wonderfully bright rooms with floor to ceiling windows that offer stunning views across Hyde park, are distinctly soothing in nature. Pared down, but thoughtfully furnished with a slick technology hub, large television and inviting sofas ensure the suites are suited to both business and leisure travellers. Large bathrooms are stylish with muted tones and lavender-scented products from the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape. Asian influences abound, from the bright white zen-like lobby, a rock garden in the penthouse suite, and in particular the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape offering Shiatsu and Thai massages along with a range of other inviting wellness therapies. The exclusive Nobu restaurant remains an undisputed night life hot spot, while the White Room serves up exceptional breakfasts complete with home made pastries and fresh Italian coffees beneath a Louvre-like glass pyramid. Location wise, the COMO Metropolitan can't be beaten.
