Hotel Review

Martin and Andrea Anderson's boutique B & B has brought a crisp, modern style to an otherwise tartan-clad Pitlochry. Set in two acres of wooded grounds this enchanting bolt-hole is perfectly situated either to explore the mountains and lochs of Highland Perthshire, have a wee dram on the Whisky Trail or enjoy a production at the Festival Theatre. Formerly a doctor’s house, there are now thirteen spotless bedrooms, some in the stable courtyard, with the number eleven suite being the grandest. Huge windows flood the public rooms with light while a wood-burning stove adds warmth and comfort. Breakfast is particularly special. Older children only.
