“If your fantasy is waking up in a converted medieval farmhouse to the sound of nothing but birdsong and the remote tinkle of a sheep’s bell, this may be your holiday dream come true.”

Hotel Review

Mallorca has shaken off its reputation as a boozy budget beach destination in favour of something far more sophisticated. While the resorts in the southwest continue to draw the party crowd, the Mallorcan inland and smaller beach towns feel like a world away – attracting travellers who come in search of peace, quiet, clean air, and food made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Nowhere more so than the tiny village of Binibona, home to only 30 inhabitants and a handful of farm stays and guesthouses. Rustic-chic Finca Ca'n Beneït is by far the most elegant – albeit entirely unpretentious – Built around a centuries-old church and olive mill, it consists of ten rooms, a farm-to-table restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and an open-air garden spa. Guests come to eat well, ramble around the countryside, gaze at the stars and simply relax.
