Follow the journey of the grape at this hotel, from the vineyards outside, down to the stunning wine cellars below. Apart from the rows of vines in the grounds, cyprus trees offer shade to the outdoor pool and terraces. Poolside visitors can use the telephone to call to the bar for refreshments, a welcome addition. The rooms are simply wonderful; palettes of cream, taupe and beige compliment the antique furniture, exposed beams and wooden floors. The restaurant is superb; all ingredients are sourced within 30km or from the hotel's own vegetable garden. Try the weekend lobster menu for a special treat, and take bicycles from the hotel reception to shake off any guilt!
