Hotel Review
Hotel Le Hameau is styled like a Spanish hacienda, white walls, vine lined arcades and a sprawling garden planted with lemon and orange trees. This theme is carried on into the bedrooms which are simple, with rustic beams and wooden furniture. Thankfully air-conditioning in each room provides a more modern luxury. Little outhouses dotted around the property contain bigger rooms and suites if guests fancy a more self-contained stay.
The pool is delightful, set in the pretty garden and surrounded by jolly yellow-and-white striped deck chairs, perfect for all day lazing. There’s a tiny fitness centre if one feels up to it, similarly a ping-pong and football table. Staff are particularly friendly and welcoming to all, animals and children included, and are very keen for guests to sample the home-made marmalade on freshly baked croissants at breakfast time.
The laid-back Le Hameau is an ideal base from which to explore Provence. Free parking is provided by the hotel and having a car is definitely recommended.
