“Krakow’s first hotel in the heart of the Old Town. Its original heritage features with their traditional European elegance have been melded with modern luxuries. Two restaurants sit in the lovely former courtyard under a glazed roof. A luxurious base to explore the city from.”

Hotel review

Pod Roza, Krakow’s first hotel has a long history of accommodating the great and the good of Europe, with Balzac and Tsar Alexander II among its guests. Still housed in a 16th-century mansion in the heart of Old Town, it has preserved its heritage with old world touches throughout. The main breakfast/dining room – originally a courtyard, now covered by a glass roof with a mezzanine piano bar – expertly blends traditional European elegance with modern luxury. However, the second, Italian restaurant, with a string of cosy rooms, is perfect for a more romantic evening.
