“Romantic family-run hotel full of personality. Large wooden-clad rooms and suites with romantic decorations and splashes of bright colour. Sheepskins, flowers, and antlers adorn the public rooms. Lovely restaurant and bar, and a three-storey spa, pool and gym. A cosy Alpine base.”

Hotel review

For around 80 years, the Julen family have been associated with this imposing Alpine chalet hotel, dripping with flowers from its balconies in summer. Owners Daniela and Paul Julen strive to keep it up to date and eye catching, and public rooms are filled with splashes of colour, sheepskins, flowers and quirky, amusing decorations, including huge, horned mountain sheeps’ heads adorning the walls in the delightfully cosy stübli. There’s also a romantic restaurant, contemporary bar and expansive three-storey spa with ‘adventure’ swimming pool and gymnasium. Rooms and suites are warmly clad in pine.
