“19th Century country hotel with stunning views, outdoor pool and manicured gardens. Lovely rooms and huge bathrooms are decorated in white, wooden floors and oil paintings. Enjoy the islands favourite restaurant with its popular Mediterranean and Canarian dishes. Rustic elegance and gourmet cuisine.”

Hotel Review
It’s not hard to work out why the tranquil eight-roomed Yaiza has a devoted tribe of returning guests. Owner José – who also runs nearby B&B Casa de Hilario – is enterprising, relaxed and incredibly affable: literally nothing is too much trouble. Highlights include the huge bathrooms, kitsch oil paintings and the finest restaurant on the island. Breakfast under the bougainvillea on ham with green olives, cold tortilla and excellent coffee.
