One of Val d’Isère’s best-kept secrets, La Galise is reasonably priced and situated just 20 metres from the ski lifts. The accommodation is simple yet cosy and homely with no synthetic furniture and a continental breakfast is included. The downstairs Alexandra bar, with two billiard tables and offering fresh food to take away, is lively and good for families with teenagers. Family-run with a friendly and accommodating atmosphere and hands-on staff.
