“A country house hotel retreat in the heart of the Carmargue. The charming rooms are the perfect mixture of comfort and style. Gourmet dining in the traditional kitchen and open access to the grounds creates an intimate and homely vibe. A tranquil and relaxing hideaway.”

Hotel review

Jacques Bon bred bulls and horses on his Camargue farm, whilst his wife Lucille, an architect and interior designer, used her skill to convert their 18th-century stable with rustic panache into this exquisite hotel. Still run by the Bon family today, the place has lost none of its authentic charm with antiques filling the large beamed bedrooms, some with galleried bathrooms. There’s also a peaceful reading room and traditional kitchen-dinning room where guests dine and can watch the chef cook up a storm. A heavenly retreat.

Le Mas de Peint

A beautiful, unpretentious Provençal farmhouse and set in a timeless, Truffaut-esque country landscape in the Camargue. The one-time home of rancher Jacques Bon and his architect wife, Lucille, this family-run estate effortlessly straddles the line between a smart country hotel and a relaxed, unfussy retreat.
