“This stately home has a commanding presence in the surrounding countryside. Each room is unique, but all are exquisitely decorated in soft palettes and fabrics. The award winning restaurant is a must, as is the smart dress code. An array of activities ensure you're kept busy. Country luxury! ”

Hotel Review
Dating back to 1632, Llangoed Hall has ensured it has kept up with the times. Having recently been awarded The Sunday Times 'Country House Hotel of the Year 2014/15' owners have created a hotel worth writing home about. The rooms, ranging in size and price are all stunning, which you would expect having been designed by Sir Bernard Ashley, husband to Laura Ashley. Small touches like Robert's radios, sherry decanters and sofas that are too comfortable, make for an extra homely stay. The cuisine at the 2 AA Rosette awarded restaurant is as delectable as you would hope and a smart dress code makes for a sophisticated atmosphere. Head chef Sam Bowser is meticulous with where he sources his ingredients: as much of it is local, seasonal, organic or from the kitchen garden as possible, it turns out he is also something of a foraging enthusiast! The hotel's fine art collection, wine cellar and activities tailored around country pursuits. Llangoed Hall makes for an excellent stately stay.
