Magna Pars Suites

This five-star hotel in a former perfume factory in the Tortona area of Milan is a suites only affair. The floor size varies, but all are kitted out with the latest hi-tech equipment, including huge satellite TVs, remote-controlled blinds and lights and lavazza coffee pods. The decor is minimalist with lots of white and natural fabrics and the suites feel more like a private home than a hotel room: there’s endless amounts of storage, shelves of books, professional hair dryers and maxi toiletries (razors, toothbrushes, combs etc as well as the usual suspects). The communal areas include a verdant courtyard garden, a roof terrace and a top-notch restaurant, Da Noi In, that’s run by Executive Chef Fulvio Siccardi, who has twice been awarded a Michelin star.
