“A stylish hotel in Psirri, Athens’ most vibrant neighbourhood. From the members club House of Shila, is a hub for the Athens' creative community. Rooms are breathtakingly beautiful, with terrazzo floors, rustic-chic decor and traditional Mediterranean style finishings. A lush city stay.”

Hotel Review
Surely Athens' most aesthetically pleasing hotel, Mona is quite literally a gallery: pretty much all artworks, furnishings and decorative objects are for sale, and are on constant rotation thanks to collaborations with local artists and designers. Housed inside a converted 1950s industrial factory, Mona is a creative and imaginative space run by warm, easy-going staff who feel like a group of hip friends rather than hoteliers. Raw, unfurnished concrete walls are offset by wooden antique furniture, soft velvet upholstery and stunning ceramics; in fact the rooms are so beautiful that the aesthetic is almost spoiled by the sheer fact of being there. From the tiny, delicate breakfast mezze to the free-standing bathtubs surrounded by verdant plants, this is a place for design lovers to truly relax, enjoy and spend time in, rather than a crash-pad to immediately leave and explore the city.
