“A popular and full-service design hotel located in a high-end shopping area. It’s also a ten minute taxi from Beijing’s historic sights and atmospheric hutongs (traditional alleyways). Sleek and serene, this space is the most welcome haven after a day in Beijing.”

Hotel Review
Conveniently located in Sanlitun, The Opposite House is a hub for meeting and dining amongst the city’s business community and stylish locals. Japanese architect Kengo Kuma’s design is sparse and imaginative. The airy rooms are supremely comfortable, each with a floor-to-ceiling window panel and lovely wooden bathtub. Fun touches include nightly treats left bedside by the hospitable staff, excellent pedal bikes for exploring the city (with an electric boost), and a limited but welcome complimentary minibar. An all-day cafe, chic Chinese restaurant with notable Peking duck, and a subterranean pool and fitness centre round out the facilities. This is Beijing’s most sophisticated contemporary hotel.
