Porto Kea Suites

Porto Kea Suites is a low-rise, village-style complex of suites and rooms, surrounded by greenery and looking out over the beach and bay at Korissia, the island's harbour village. In front, there's a huge pool, surrounded by lawns, loungers and white canvas umbrellas. Next to it, there's a heated whirlpool. Across the road on the beach are more loungers and umbrellas, along with the hotel's own beach bar. Architecture mixes stone archways with whitewashed walls and mellow pink and terracotta tones. Public areas are made welcoming by comfortable leather sofas and armchairs. Staff-to-guest ratio is high, and you can expect 24 hour reception, luggage transfer to your room – which is welcome, given the extent of the garden setting – and extended breakfasting hours. Bedroom colour schemes combine neutral greys, greens and creams with marble bathrooms, and kitchen areas with microwave oven, mini-fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities to complement room service. With tables indoors and out, the restaurant serves a modern Mediterranean menu, and for variety the harbourside restaurants of Korissia are a five-minute stroll along the beach.
