Speicher7 Hotel has more to it than first meets the eye. This regular 1950s building could easily be mistaken for yet another of Mannheim's innovative businesses, yet what lies within the red brick walls is a stylishly designed modern hotel. Upstairs you find sleek, trendy rooms with a focus on relaxation and comfort. The hotel's aim is to provide a casual sense of well-being for its guests, and it certainly achieves this, with charming communal areas such as its wonderfully decorated bar and its wooden panelled restaurant. Yoga lessons will transport you far away from the hotel's industrial riverside setting and ensure that your stay in Mannheim is more relaxing than might have first imagined. Speicher7 is perfectly located to go and visit the wonderful Mannheim palace-come-university.
