Set amid the rolling countryside surrounding Lucca, Tenuta San Pietro is a lovingly restored 16th century farmhouse turned luxury hotel. The eight bedrooms and two suites effortlessly combine original features (think wooden floors, exposed beams and exposed stone walls) with contemporary touches including modern art on the walls and the usual mod cons. The restaurant is another big draw; chef Guido delivers fabulous regional and Mediterranean cuisine (accompanied by the property's very own extra virgin olive oil). They also run cookery courses and holidays, for those looking to improve their skills. The Tenuta also boasts a glorious outdoor pool with a view, and massages (using olive oil and chocolate!) are available on request. A comfortable restaurant and a beautiful hotel terrace overlooking the valley are the corners where to savour the unique taste of the house specialities. Open for lunch and dinner. Which are your most popular room types, and why? Luxury, Superior room with view, Suite with view – our Suites with valley view are the most popular. A unique Tuscan setting, with breath-taking views and all the comforts of a luxury four star hotel, it's impossible not to love them!
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms? Extra beds can be added in superior room and suites. The children can enjoy some sporting activities in the area, even just a walk down to our animals, or exploring a bit of the countryside.
